Recruitment Process

1. Application Form Completed

All roles require the Juventas application form completed to enable our team to shortlist for interview based on your skills and experience.

2. Interview Stage

The hiring manager for the service will interview and learn more about your skills and suitability for the role.

 

3. Congratulations you got the job!

We cant wait to welcome you to our team! You have been sent your offer letter & new starter documents to complete by HR. Your Onboarding now begins.

Onboarding Process

Its time to get you ready to join our team, we have a robust Safer Recruitment Policy which we use to do checks to ensure we Safeguard young people in our care. This process takes approximately 4 weeks to complete and the 5 steps are shown below.

1. New Starter Form

We need the forms we have sent you to completed so we can start onboarding and have all relevant details for your file such as bank details, HRMC and important information about you for your HR file.

2. Right to Work Checks

We need copies and to verify all ID documents to confirm your identity and to satisfy your right to work in the UK. We will provide you a list of what we need to do this.

3. Juventas Enhanced DBS checks to be completed

All staff hold a Juventas issued Enhanced DBS certificate. Before you join us we need to apply and get this sent to you from the DBS system.

4. Reference checks are completed

We need to obtain all references from roles within the past 5 years and all roles in support or dealing with vulnerable people.

 

5. Pre-Employment eLearning

We want our staff to have a great understanding of the service they are working in and use e-Learning to ensure everyone has the same foundation knowledge before they start in our team.
