Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Support Worker

We provide support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) to provide them with the necessary guidance to enable them to positively settle into life in the UK. Our award winning UASC service provides housing and key work support to 16- to 18-year-old young people as they transition from first arrival into the UK through to living meaningfully and independently.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedication Transitions Support Worker to join our Norwich based team to help deliver our award winning service to support 16 – 18 year-old’s as they transition from first arrival into the UK through to living meaningfully and independently.
The Role
Reporting in to one of 2 Team Managers you will be working on a flexible basis to provide cover for staff absence and holidays, to meet the needs of young people you are supporting.
You will be part of a small, dedicated, passionate, and inclusive team who all work extremely hard to ensure that the welfare of the young people they support is promoted and that they are safeguarded from harm.
You will provide support, guidance, and key working to young people who may have limited English language skills on arrival, help them navigate living successfully in a new country and helping them to prepare for the next stage of their lives.
